The 27-year-old (born in 1990) started playing drums at the age of ten. At that time, Lars already proved to be a bit of a rebel: after just a few months he finished classical drum lessons and found his inspiration in grunge and rock music. Born in Nordhorn on the Dutch border, Lars now lives in Hamburg and often travels to Berlin.
In 2005, Lars founded the band "Picture Perfect" with some school friends and gained his first band experiences. After months of rehearsals in the youth center, the first gigs came. The band had their highlights with gigs at The Dome 52 in Graz, as opening act of Silbermond in front of a 6,000 crowd in the Halle Münsterland and a performance on the Atze Schröder show. "Picture Perfect" worked with the producer Kristian Sandberg, Henning Wehland & Jan Löchel.
In 2008 he founded the Britpop band "The Piglets" with Steffen Graef and Jens Haldenwang. This band played 15 gigs within 6 months and won several band contests.
In 2011, Lars took his first job as a drummer with the German singer / songwriter Fabian Buch and played a festival tour with him in over 25 appearances.
Between 2011 and 2015, his teacher at the Popakademie Baden-Württemberg in Mannheim was Udo Dahmen. Lars currently plays for German artists "Max Giesinger", "Michael Schulte" and "Isabelle Schmidt". Incidentally, he founded the band FEDORA in autumn 2011. Since 2013, he also drums with German singer-songwriter "Madeline Juno". So far, Lars can look back on some very successful years, which brought many studio jobs, performances and tours in Germany.
Since the beginning of May 2018, Lars' endorsers have been Drum Workshop, Paiste cymbals and Remo heads.
